R's weekend in Tennessee with EOJ!

Getting ready for a tube ride!!!
We are a group of cousins (firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths...) who at our great-grandmothers funeral decided to stay in touch despite the hurdles of distance and lifes business! Through the example of our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents we have learned the importance of family. So may the lines and (typed) keys of communication remain busy! I love you guys!!!

Looks like a great weekend of fun and fellowship - and a great boat too! Also, it is nice to see matchmaker Cerise and Ben.
We missed you last weekend for Easter, Rebeka, so you better plan on being with us for Memorial Day! How about EOJ -- is he up to facing the scrutiny of the PA, MN Grands, and the Montana branches of THE FAMILY? I'm sure you've already extended the invitation, and if not, I just did.
Thanks for putting up the pictures. I'm sure Grandma M is happy to have her pictures slide into second position.
Ah, Rebeka, the pictures remind me of Jim's and my early dating days at Lake Superior and Pillsbury! I predict a happy future!
Yep! I've already asked him to come that weekend- So I think he's going to (I told him he HAD to meet my Melbell and Rick... grams and gramps too)! And believe me... I'm sure he's up for the scrutiny-- I definately got it from his dad this weekend--- good thing the blog keeps me up to par on my banterings and comebacks- it came in handy!!
I'm not going to make any predictions or anything... but I will say this--- I think the Martin Clan will be seeing A LOT of EOJ in the future!:-)
I am so super happy that this guy is looking good for you. So, if it works out for you guys you need to pass the good deed of match making on and set me up with a friend okay :). I love it!!!!
Very funny mom! I joke around about breaking up with EOJ just b/c it gets such reactions from the fam... but they know I've fallen hard- so I don't think I could get them to believe me anymore- PLUS, my dad said if I break up with Joe he's going to raise the rent $200!! LOL!
Well now R' this is looking promising...very cute pics I must say! So are you keeping Abby B. updated and sending her pics as well? How Ironic that you both have stumbled into the land of
"seeing someone" at the same time!
It will be exciting to see what God has in store for you two ladies!!

I DO OFTEN REPEAT MYSELF...

Well Queen-Eve Let me say that you guys are seriously a Celebrity couple. You guys look so good together. I have one question though, how old is he? He looks like he could be a rather young spring chicken next to you, the old hen, JUST KIDDING. he does have a rather young look on his face, so I am wondering if you are goin after younger men? as Seinfeld says, "not that there's anything wrong with that".
Love ya
I have been sending Abby pictures and we exchange dating stories via e-mail every now and then! It is rather exciting! I'm so happy for Abby- I think her and Jon make a great couple... almost as great as Joe and me- lol!!
Surf... right you are! He's 23!!! Strange- I always had a hang-up with that before... but obviously not anymore:-)! love ya too!
Looks like way too much fun to me...glad you found yourself a handsome prince.....you have my approval!
Rebel, He must be the one if your past hang ups have been pushed under the carpet. Am I right? I was saying to James today that there is no way Joe could be younger than you but I was proven wrong. I am so proud of you for getting past this!!!
LOL! Yeah I know-- for some reason I just really don't care. I've learned that age is irrelevant- especially if everything else about a person WOWS you-- which is SO the case with EOJ:-)!
Looks like he'll definately be coming out to PA for Memorial Day weekend!!! I can't wait for everyone to meet him... he's phenominal!!!:-)
Please-- I'm so on the kids team-- and EOJ is too! What about Rick and Mel though?? Hmmm! They could go either way-- but I so think they need to be on the kids team as well!!!:-) Yep! I'm smelling a youngsters victory... or perhaps that's the smell of the old farts failure:-)!!!
Where do these youth come up with these names? I think they've been spending too much time reading the Jerrys on the Martin blog!
Marriage draws the line. Melandrick and now "mature adults" and can no longer play on the little kids' team. And remember, old age and treachery (not to mention our skill and experience) will win every time.
I'll let ya live in dream world a bit longer Aunt Char!!!:-)
Yikes! Who spiked UJ's coffee cup?! The zings you're capable of astound me... I have much to learn!!! I'm just mere larva in this game of wit!!
Yes, UJ is the most profound zinger on the blog. And guess what, we're all pretty happy with that, as I'm not sure it's a distinction I'd like to have for myself! Keep waiting for that original stuff, UJ, and I'll just keep doing what I do best - which is not zinging or being creative.
Leave it to a Jerry to think there's anything new under the sun anyway.
Well, actually, whatever it is that I do best, I have not totally figured out yet!
