Martin Clan
We are a group of cousins (firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths...) who at our great-grandmothers funeral decided to stay in touch despite the hurdles of distance and lifes business! Through the example of our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents we have learned the importance of family. So may the lines and (typed) keys of communication remain busy! I love you guys!!!

Hey Montana girl...did you get my text message?
Thanks Melissa for posting some pics from camp!
The pictures are great! The Jims look great at the water front - and why is Emily the only Jerry there?
Hi, Montana girl! I keep checking YOUR site for new pictures, too!
To answer your question Aunt Char...Emily is the "peacemaker" type, always trying to mend those "ties that bind".
I'm sure she was implementing the "sweetness techniques" she learned in my class, (sweetness 101), on the Jims!
The reason i was the only Jerry down at the waterfront, is because i actually like hanging out with the Jims!!!
Bless you Emily! You are a young lady of uncanny discernment.
It is good to be home and back to routines again. We had a tremendous vacation. It was to good to see so many Martinfamily at Bass Lake (also good to see and spend time with the Lindstrom Family, Roebens, etc.) Our only regret was coming home with an empty van. We miss you James and Maria, but are thrilled for this opportunity for your further education. We almost have the hot tub installed in your bedroom, Maria!
By the way, in searching for our Martinfamily blog, I came across the Shirl's attempt at famly blogging. http://druryreport.blogspot.com
More blog-power to you Shirls, but I encourage you to remain a part of the Martinfamily blog as well. We want to hear from you (and see your handsome faces) once in awhile.
I must say that Emily has class, that's all there is to it, she knows who to hang with down at the lake. We love you Emily
Hey great pictures everyone. I tried to be mysterious about who I was, but it is not as much fum. Anyway, us folks from Wyoming had a great time. We did not bring our camera (as usual) so we don't have any pictures to add. Anyway, if you all get a chance, you can check out my music space davidjosephmartin@myspace.com
take care
So are you wyo3? Very good! It was so great to have you guys come to BL - and to hear your testimonies. We hope to see some baby pictures from the Ralphs when the time comes! Get those cameras ready now!
The Drury Family may try its hand at blogging. However, none of the other Shirls, as you call them, know about this yet. It was just an idea that got sidetracked, temporarily. So, if you look at it, and don't see much (or any) activity, that's why. Regardless, the Shirls will have a long way to go to catch up with the Martin Clan blog. Also, we won't forget our roots in the Martin Clan blog...some of us will still be looking in on you from time to time. ;)
it's great to have the wyoming constituency of the Martins checking in. keep commenting. Don't let the "jerrys" or "jims" away.
Ok I guess college has gotten me thinking in unclear thoughts, I meant to say, don't let the jerrys or jims *scare you away.
Thanks for the clarification there James, it's always good to be able to admit our mistakes :)
How's the coffee situation there at pilly? Remember you and Maria are always welcome here, I've been known to brew a mean cup of coffee:)
I definately plan on looking up your site David and thanks Uncle Jim for the info on the Drury-Clan... guess they think they're too good for us--starting there own blog and everything;-)!
I went to there site and Brenda has some cute pictures up of the kids! Plus, the newest Drury-member is pictured... and she's ever so precious! Definately worth the visit!
