Martin Clan
We are a group of cousins (firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths...) who at our great-grandmothers funeral decided to stay in touch despite the hurdles of distance and lifes business! Through the example of our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents we have learned the importance of family. So may the lines and (typed) keys of communication remain busy! I love you guys!!!

This is only a scratching of the surface from the myriad of pictures from vacation, I decided to start w/ 6 pictures, you may drown if the deluge of pix is too large.

Ohh and by the way the letters on Bittles's shirt in the one picture of she and Mergles, stand for "Bob Und Merily" am I the only one that finds humor in that?
I love that one of mergs and bittles. It just captures their very being like nothing else.

These pics bring back such happy memories...haha. Thanks James for sharing! So as you can see I have figured out how to comment but I can not figure out how to post pics, it seems as I don't have the toolbar that I am supposed to have!
Any ideas? I have pistures from Jennifers wedding I would like to share! HELP!
good to see you jumped on bored Laura! OK and as soon as I saw that NASTER picture of me just rolling out of bed at the crack of dawn your name became mud...JAMES!!!!!!! thanks for sharing it with everyone!
Thanks for the pix James! Can't wait to see some more! hey- peedster... did they use that greasy head of yours to fry the breakfast eggs??? haha!
Laura- if you give me your e-mail address- I'll write out specific directions on how to post... that's what I did for Chris! Would LOVE to see photos from the wedding!
Sorry Bittles. I hope that the new pix I just posted warms your heart a little bit. Remember I posted that naster of Eve and I with our freight train sized mouths gaping wide open. and the worst part is my mouth is bigger than Queen-E's. I hope that warms your heart a tad.
I hope it will work out to go next year (martin camp)... but next summer... I'm off to South Africa!!! So very excited! I'm praying that all the details come together-- I may be back in time to catch camp!!
Oh... and Maria--- you're reputation is forever tarnished now! (due to the greasy-head picture)! Rest assured... you do have one less fan!! (me:-)
Have James show you how to post your glam shot- perhaps it will exonerate you!!
Must we continue to bring up the greasy-head subject! Its terrible that the picture was taken but its even worse that it showed up on the blog for everyone to laugh and mock(Rebeasty!) Now that everyone has seen who shows up at Martin camp they will be sure NOT to come seeing Maria and I in that state(they probably think we have lice crawling around in that rat's nest!)
What I love about THE picture is the happiness so evident in the lovely faces. Just pure and natural and sweet happiness. Makes you just want to go back to Bass Lake and experience it all again.
My belly hurts from laughing- pd and aunt Char!!:-)

What is it Rebeast, can't handle the heat so you've been deleting every mean or negative comment people have been typing about you...(shake head-shake head)
Hey--- No one ties my hands:-) Seems to me to be super appropriate seeing as though I am the "MASTERMIND" of this operation!! haha!
You know, I was trying to remember if Sara or Rebeka had started the whole thing! Now we know - it was Rebeka, and thanks so much! Not that it's going to your head or anything!
Thanks for the tip- Ry... I'll lay low for now! These Martin's can be brutal!!!
Looking more closely at the original picture of Bits and Maria, has anyone else noticed the THREE HUGE pancakes on each plate? So no matter how early it is, or even if they're ready for a photo - these girls can eat! They are truly Martins! And yes, Ryan and Jeff, those pancakes were great.
Thanks for pointing out the "THREE" pancakes...this picture gets worse and worse and I now I can no longer say I am perfect so whoever it was who took that picture...(the voice in the back of my head seems to be telling me it was Uncle Jim)...I DO NOT appreciate it!!!! keep the camera's away in the morning!
Who'd even notice your little roll with the beached-whale sitting next to you!
