Sara's recent trip to Florida!!

This is Ziggy, my girlfriends ferret. How cute!! He gets into so much trouble. He's a snoop!!
This is my girlfriends dog, Cali. She weighs 196 pounds, but is a gentle giant. She's a mastif.
This is my girlfriend & her husbands backyard. Nice, huh? She lives in Southern Florida.
This is the beach we laid out at for a few hours. The water is like bath water there.

Not a big fan of ferrets-- but this Ziggy rodant is rather cute-- oh which reminds me- last night- I saw a nasty little mouse run across the kitchen floor! Hey Aunt Char want to come over for dinner:-)??!

I think it's about time I go down to Florida... How terrible- a 24 year old still virgin to the Florida beaches!! TRAGIC!!!

OH NO - not another mouse! What is Bo's reaction? Please keep me posted as to your progress in getting rid of the rodent! I won't be at peace until it's GONE!

Jeff- thanks for the advice! No matter how great my disdain for mice is... it's even greater for those slithering-nasters!! That's yet another Jeff-tip I'm going to ignore:-)!!! Although your tip did have a beneficial angle-- I've realized things could always be worst!

And Bo- didn't even know it was there! Hopefully he will learn and grow in understanding his responsabilities around the house! I'm sure hoping we didn't get a Bo-Zo!!!

That whole Bo-zo thing was just too funny there Rebeast...still trying to stop laughing...(shake head, shake head)but on more serious note:
yeah we tried to put Bo to the task of chasing the mouse but he was more intrested in other things(such as food) to even notice the mouse- goes to show he was placed in the right household...takes after the Rebeast in the food department!!!!

O and the next time you go to Floridam, Sara...Im sure you wont mind if you have a little extra shadow following you around (requiring a little extra cost on YOUR part of course!)

Sara - the pictures are gorgeous! How could you leave? But if we could only delete the ferret - I'm sorry, just a rodent phobia I have.

Oh, but Aunt Char...look how cute he is!!! There actually is another ferret, but he's old and sleeps all the time. I used to be afraid of them too, but little Ziggy has become my favorite out of the three pets.

I'll take your word for it Sara - just hope I'm never in close proximity to the animal - although that beach picture is calling me!

Cats and rodents are two types of animals that I think are best on the side of the road. Now I have to say that I don't mind CR's cat Jimmy(of course cause he's my namesake). Sara, you seriously are makin me jealous of you with all those excursions to FLA, and I think the pic of the ferret is nice.

I think it was growing up on the farm that turned me totally against those nasty creatures! Whatever their original purpose could have been, The Fall has turned them into nothing but snake bait (as Uncle Jeff so appropriately suggested)!

On our prairie farm, we always had terriers and cats to take care of the problem. These animals did their job so well.

One of our jobs on the farm (how nostalic I'm feeling!) was to pick rocks every spring. My sisters and I were all out in the field trying to move an exceptionally large rock with the use of boards, and when we finally got it out of its hole - we looked down to see a family of little mice nestled in the dirt. Picture four girls running in all directions across the field AWAY from that hole!

It scarred me for life.
