We are a group of cousins (firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths...) who at our great-grandmothers funeral decided to stay in touch despite the hurdles of distance and lifes business! Through the example of our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents we have learned the importance of family. So may the lines and (typed) keys of communication remain busy! I love you guys!!!

Jerry, jerry! I took the funnest trip to the black hills during college because he was going to go, too. He ended up not going, but I still went and we had a blast. So I can always thank him for a good time, even though I never actually did spend anytime with him!
I might be mistaken, but it just seems like you gave some advice in the past regarding those L boys. Do you remember? ANYWAY, he certainly is good-looking enough to be one of your ridiculously good-looking cousins, such similarities I see!
So typical of generous Ryan, to cut the kid some slack.
Rebeka, maybe it was the J__ boys you gave advice regarding. I'm not remembering.
Whether you know what I'm talking about or not, just pretend you do and it will be our secret. We can only HOPE to some day be as annoying as Ryan and Jeff with their secret code thing going on.

The more I get to know Jer- the more I'm impressed- but DON'T worry!!! You know me... I'm way too young to be dating!!! And plus... I'm holding out for a God thing! B/c FOR REAL!!! Ok lady wisdom incarnate(Queen-E), let me just say that I am behind you. See I know something that the rest of the clan dose not know here to now. I know our angelic Rebek's history, The boys never bamboozeled her, she is much to powerful for that. If she views the man as attractive, and if he is taller and older than she is, then there is a slight possibility, as she gets to know the gentelman then, she may become more and more attracted to him. But believe it or not I don't remember her being the one that was beguiled, bamboozeled, snookered or lured into any relationship. I know that she's ancient, like try one score and three years, but in all this time I can't remember it happening. It's ok at least loo-loo and I are here, lady R.

Oh how thankful to have one mere loyal family member amongst all the cruel harsh Martins. James- I rise up and call thee blessed! And yes, I am hardly one to be bamboozeled, beguiled, snookered or lured -although... if anyone could lure me in... it would definately be Jer... with those rediculous good looks and build like Goliath! NEVER FEAR my little Martins--- I'd rather have my David any day (A man after God's own heart)!
Ryan, feeling bad? OK I guess it's the thought that counts, but allow me to remind you we have J-im J-osh and J-ames and R-ebeka. Jay hasn't come on yet, so he does not count. Before he does, I can always call J-ill too, that would make the sides even then, wouldn't you say so(4 j's and an r)?
But I've only known such kindness and generosity from Jay! I have no doubt as to the power of his wit, but can only imagine it being used to amuse and even encourage!
How did we get from Jerry's good looks and Rebeka's questioned intentions to this?
In the interest of good pancakes at Bass Lake next year -- and a continuing stop off point in Ohio (should Jay ever blog on and read this) I want it known that I have no quarrel with the Jerry Martins. The men are all handsome and talented and the women are true beauties and good cooks, which is why we all get along so well.
Maybe we should instead turn our united "whit" and "wit" to the Ralph Martins, who triumphantly blogged on long ago and then just as suddenly deserted.
