Memories of Christmas Past

I'll never forget the Christmas when Ryan was given his beloved pet horse "Winnie". Tears of joy streamed down his face as he and his four-legged friend met nose to muzzle. This would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

-A new bridle-- $45

-Four new horse shoes-- $65

-A Christmas wish come true and saving a horse from the glue factory-- priceless!

So that probably explains Ryan's uncanny resemblence to Mr. Ed in a previous picture? Touching.

But especially thanks for posting something to archive the ugly dog picture!

Ouch! Auntie Char has been a bit stressed as of late.
Just when things were settling down and the chestnuts were roasting by the fire -- a big horse chestnut came crashing down on the new blog entry!
Rebeks -- don't go getting gunshy on us just because the tone seems to be heating up. I'll calm things down...
Um, Ryan really is a very nice boy (and very photogenic) with generous parents who got him a special pony for Christmas. He is lucky!
Let's just leave it there OK!
Is everyone having a great Christmas season?

Lets see...I think that Jeremy is home from Pensicola and has been introduced to posting by his big brother Jeffrey! I happen to know that Jeremy was the photographer of this picture. As for "Winnie" I think that was a joint brain child of both Ryan and Jeremy...they can make fun out of anything!! You know Char...If Ryan resmbles Mr.Ed...what does that say of his Parentage?

No, no, Ryan's parentage is blameless. I was referring only to the past picture where comments were made about the expression on Ryan's face resembling Mr. Ed, thinking that perhaps he had grown to resemble his pet, as happens often according to some pictures I have seen. (No, my hair has not become curlier for having a pet poodle.) I am well aware that Ryan is ridiculously good-looking, as has also been documented by photos on the Martin blog.

It truly is a touching post, whoever is responsible. I had been quite sure that UJ had gone completely over the edge with sweetness (or into the well?). So I'd actually be relieved if someone else did the posting.

I hope people don't feel like they have to tip-toe around on the blog on the account of me-- PLEASE!!! You should know me by now!!! A little Sarcasm and jib-jab is right up my ally! (as long as a sweet kind word is thrown to me once a month... I shall be content)!

A very touching picture of Ryan~ You'll have to give us a full report on how school went for you!

Oh-- I tried for 2 hours to post some photos of the girlie-weekend in NYC and I still couldn't figure it out--- so I got frustrated and quit! Perhaps I'll try again later today!

See, UJ? No more tip-toe-ing around!

Keep trying, R, we've had similar problems sometimes, and then the next day, doing all the same things, it works.

Isn't it your mom's birthday today - a momentous one at that? And I think we missed Roberto's and Sara's.

Hey guys I am Home for Christmas break, but It's not my picture and this is the first time I've been on the blog. But I must admit that the bond between a boy and his horse is very special and nothing to be ashamed of. Ride on Ryan... Ride on.

Welcome back, Jeff! But I'm sorry to point this out: someone who is not participating should not be allowed to call the blog names. It was also rather demeaning to your UJ - can't you see the heart beating behind the touching poem?

More responses from you would make us all so happy! Looking forward to more input from Michigan. That will certainly keep the blog from snoozerville. I guess I just noticed that you had not responded to UJ's poem.

And I will take your (not-so-subtle) hint and refrain for a few hours! ;-)

One more comment - you are correct, Jeff E. It was beginning to look like my personal blog. I really must stop commenting. Thank you for pointing this out in your sweet and non-offensive way!
