Sunday June 25th thru Thursday June 29th, in honor of Jerry & Janets 50th wedding Anniversary~
A “Tributary” Of Love
Fifty years ago you got married,
And one word to describe it is WOW,
How the love that started as an “ember” back then,
Is the “flame” of love that burns now.
We know that luck has nothing to do,
With a woman falling in love with a man,
But rather we know that your last 50 years,
Was all a part of Gods plan.
As a result of this love four children were born,
Who at this time want to say thanks,
For “training us up in the way we should go”,
With loving words, big hugs and hard spanks.
You always made sure us kids had the best,
When it came to the latest of trends,
But the best thing we got, that’s second to none,
Are a Mom and Dad we all call friends.
So as a token of our appreciation,
For your 50th Anniversary gift,
We’re all going on an adventure in June,
That will involve floating adrift.
This may not be quite what you’re thinking,
And before you yell out “yippy skippy”
We won’t be setting sail in the Caribbean or such,
But rather on the “Ole Mississippi”.
So while we all embark on this exciting event,
And see the river like good ole’ Huck Finn.
Just plan on sitting back without a care in the world,
And celebrate 50 with your nearest of kin.

Our prayers (and jealousies) are with you as the Jerry clan departs on their river cruise. You are in the capable hands of Uncle Jeff at the helm I presume? Take lots of pictures and post immediately upon return.
