Many thanks to all who helped us celebrate! An open house for 115 would never have happened without everyone to help, especially Mom and Melanie. Rick and Melanie left Tuesday a.m., and Mom and Dad Martin left this morning (Thursday). Time flew, and everything was so much fun!

We miss R! Keep us posted, Merily.

Also want to wish my nearly perfect spouse a happy 49th! He is the best.

We're also thinking of Grandma Lula today, with love and thankfulness.

Yes...off she went...Miss Rebs. Dropped her off in Washington DC last night around 7:30. It was a long 7 hours in the car, but well worth it.

Happy Birthday Uncle Jim!!! I keep expecting to see your picture up on the blog.

And...last, but certainly not least...Happy Graduation Maria! We all had so much fun celebrating

ok lets see if this will work this time (yes i deleted my last two comments due to technical difficulties)...

I know tina, hard to believe I made it! Go ahead, get that magnifying glass, you'll find there was no cheating done by me!

As to the silver cap and gown... well my other option was to wear the white gowns made for a 5'2 graduate (complete with 3/4 length sleeves, or at least thats how it looked on me). I did complain that I felt like an space traveler in that cap and gown and it didn't help that Rick gave me the star trek salute as I walked down the aisle. BUT ALAS, silver it was and nothing I can do about it now!

Bittles, you'll just have to do post-secondary at pillsbury, I'm all for it! and josh, sorry for not mentioning you in my speech.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and cards!

Happy Happy Birthday Jim! We know you were given the royal treatment...whatever that may be!!!

Congratulations Maria!!
A true accomplishment indeed!
As for the silver...you wore it well, as a matter of fact I would go as far as to say that no one has ever worn silver better!
Looking forward to see you all at Bass Lake!

WELCOME aboard Joe! so glad you joined this crazy clan. At least we'll hear from you while Rebeka's gone for these long 2 1/2 months. Keep us informed since I'm sure you'll be hearing from her more than we will.
If you get off just as a bank robber, consider yourself lucky! After all, like USD (uncle Steve) said if you know Rebeka...she's just a 'Chip off the old Blogg" nothing you can't handle.

Hi, Sara! Actually, tonight (Tuesday) we are having the 3 interns over and are having chicken enchiladas with Grandma Martin's strawberry dessert, so there will be lots of food and it will hopefully be good. Delicious food is always the PLAN, but you know how these things go!
