Rediscovering the joy of Fishing!

After years of not fishing, Mom got her license and
landed the first Walleye of the evening.
Me too, me too! I caught a nice bass!"

Carol Roeben emailed these pictures of the great fishermen working waters of Caribou Lake (where Roeben's have their lake home, just inland of Lake Superior.)
It looks like you are having a great time up North. We only wish we were there tossing out a line and chewing the fat with you.
We wish you all a great 4th of July holiday.

WAHOO, Uncle Jim and Auntie Virginia! Uncle Tom would be so proud! I'll have to show him the blog when he's here. We're all going to David's for the 4th. It will be so fun.
Sounds like the Jim's will be up at the cabin?! How fun!

We are praying for Candy, and for Benjamin's family. His family lives north of Westbrook. (My parents live northwest of Westbrook.) His funeral is Wednesday in Walnut Grove.

It appears that several educational sessions will be going on throughout the week of Bass Lake. I'd hate to miss out on them...so count me in!!!

I'll be there...front and center!
