End of Maria's Spring Break
What better way to finish a week in Montana than to attend a sportsmen's banquet. Here's one of the mounts that was on display
This is what we got to taste: bear, beaver, buffalo, pheasant, rabbit, elk, antelope and I'm sure there was more that I'm forgetting
On the trip back we had to stop at Wall Drug for a few photo ops!

Now does this game meet with Pills. regs?
That plate looked ever so delightful! I'm so sad I could not embark on such tasty morsals!
Looks like the banquet was tons of fun. I haven't even tasted all those things and I LIVE in Montana. Mergs, what a great old fashioned hat you're wearing, and what are you wearing under it?
Yum! Yum! What delightfully delicious delicasies you tasted and what a wonderful presentaion in that photo you posted...just makes my mouth water!
mell that's my hunting hat that i won at the sportsman banquet. actually justin won the hat and i got a shirt, so i traded with him. who wouldn't want the orange hunting hat!!!!!! i'm wearing the bridger bowl hat underneath to give it some gangsta flava!
oh guess what, i also won a turkey caller at the banquet, so i now feel called to become a turkey hunter in montana!!!11
Maria, were there any door prizes you did NOT have in your possession at the banquet?
Were these prizes legitimately (sorry Aunt Char if that's miss-spelled;-) won or were they the "5-fingered-prizes"???
Much as I love you, Maria, I am evidently not the only one with questions!!
dont worry, there were door prizes for all! i didn't have to resort to my philly 5 finger discount. sarah won a Jim Shockey hunting DVD and Ben won "23 of the best elk hunts" dvd. so no one left empty handed. sarah almost won one of the grand prizes which was a "dry guy" which we still havent figured out what it is!
